Vision of Hope 

I have loved just about every part of my opticianry education. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be working in the on-campus dispensary clinic and making glasses. 

My inspiration to become an Optician comes from a few different things. First, I had my parents who inspired me to pursue a college education. Then, I had my aunt who was an Optician. She told me how much she loved her career and told me I would love it as well. 

I would tell any student who was considering pursuing opticianry school to do it! I was nervous about coming to a campus where I did not know anyone and starting a program like this. However, it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. This career is definitely rewarding and there is something for everyone in it.
